Synthesis, spectral, electrochemical, crystal structures and nonlinear optical properties of unsymmetrical Ni(II) and Cu(II) Schiff base complexes

This paper explores the synthesis, spectroscopic and structural characterization, linear and nonlinear optical properties, as well as the electrochemical behavior of two series of robust neutral Ni(II)- and Cu(II)-centered organometallic…

Diameter dependence of the optoelectronic properties of single walled carbon nanotubes determined by ellipsometry

We report ellipsometric measurement on single walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) films performed in a large spectral range from 0.07eV to 4.97eV. The complex dielectric functions of SWCNTs are correlated to their diameter distribution extracted from…

A hybrid ruthenium alkynyl/zinc porphyrin "Cross Fourchée" with large cubic nonlinear optical properties.

A new Zn(ii) porphyrin-cored ruthenium alkynyl dendrimer (2) containing twelve Ru(κ2-dppe)2 bis-alkynyl fragments has been prepared in two steps from 5,10,15,20-tetra(4-ethynylphenyl)porphyrinatozinc(ii) and shown to be highly active for third…

The nature of domain walls in ultrathin ferromagnets revealed by scanning nanomagnetometry

The capacity to propagate magnetic domain walls with spin-polarized currents underpins several schemes for information storage and processing using spintronic devices. A key question involves the internal structure of the domain walls, which governs…
