Wavefront shaping enhanced nano-optomechanics down to the quantum precision limit

We introduce wavefront shaping as a tool for optimizing the sensitivity in nano-optomechanical measurement schemes. We perform multimode output analysis of an optomechanical system consisting of a focused laser beam coupled to the transverse motion…

Single Graphene Quantum Dots in a molecular crystal

Optimal Control of Levitated Nanoparticles through Finite-Stiffness Confinement

Optimal control of levitated nanoparticles subjected to thermal fluctuations is a challenging problem, both theoretically and experimentally. In this Letter, we compute the time-dependent harmonic confining potential that steers, in a prescribed…

Stochastic thermodynamics with levitating nanoparticles : from optimizing state transformations to the study of arbitrary potentials

About carrier's self-trapping and dynamical Rashba splitting in the two-dimensional hybrid perovskite (BA)$_2$(MA)$_2$Pb$_3$I$_{10}$

Time- and Angle-Resolved Photoelectron Spectroscopy (tr-ARPES) is employed to monitor photoexcited electrons in the two-dimensional hybrid perovskite (BA)$_2$(MA)$_2$Pb$_3$I$_{10}$. Photoelectron intensity maps are in good agreement with ab-initio…

Non-symmetrical vortex beam shaping in VECSEL laser arrays

We propose and numerically test, to our knowledge, a novel concept for asymmetric vortex beam generation in a degenerate vertical external cavity surface emitting laser (DVECSEL). The method is based on a phase-locking ring array of lasers created…
